Who is Yeshua?

This text is not written by me

Who Is Yeshua

Yeshua . . . who is He—the long-awaited King-Messiah of Israel or Jesus Christ, the God of the Gentiles?  . . . Or could He be both?

In this section we will examine the evidence. We know he was perhaps the most influential Jewish Person that ever lived. His effect on history is unmistakable.
If he is who he claimed to be, he is also the greatest . . . and thus each of us must make a decision about his claims if we are intellectually honest.
As Jewish People, we grew up with very strong feelings about “that man” in whose name our People have been persecuted, beaten, accused and annihilated for nearly 2,000 years.

Yet, was that HIS message?

The New Testament contains his words, but it is a “forbidden book” to us, so we take it on faith that anti-Semites are speaking for him and doing his will.
What if they are not? What if he came as a Jew to his own exactly as our Prophets foretold in hundreds of prophecies, what if . . .

What’s with the Name?

Are we just dressing “Jesus Christ,” the Gentile God, in Jewish clothing to proselytize Jewish People?
Yeshua’s Name was given by an angelic messenger from ADONAI and reveals the special relationship and ministry he has with his Jewish People.
“ . . . an angel of ADONAI appeared to him [Yosef] in a dream and said, ‘Yosef, son of David, do not be afraid to take Miryam home with you as your wife; for what has been conceived in her is from the Ruach haKodesh. She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua, [which means ‘ADONAI saves’] because he will save his people from their sins.” Matt. 1:20,21 CJB
As you explore this site, you will find that Yeshua was very much a part of Israel and the Jewish People . . . that he taught from the Torah, the Books of Moses . . . that his words, his world and the New Testament are very much a legacy of Israel and the Jewish People.

So What Happened? He Doesn’t Look Jewish!

In a nutshell, after Jerusalem was sacked in 70 A.D., the Jews were scattered, including the Jews that believed in Yeshua the Nazarene, sometimes referred to as followers of “The Way.” As Gentiles came to believe in Yeshua and “Christianity” spread, the Hebraic foundations became less and less influential. In the Third Century, Emperor Constantine sought to unify his growing empire and created one state religion called Christianity, utilizing elements of the original faith mixed with the prevailing pagan traditions of the region. The Sabbath was changed to Sunday as that was the day of worship to the sun god, and the rest of the biblical feasts were expunged.
Yeshua and the First Century Hebraic faith were now unrecognizable to the Jewish People.
This is not without precedent, however. We have a picture of this in our Tenakh. When Joseph’s brothers came to him in Egypt, they did not recognize him.  They thought he was an Egyptian. He was their brother and they had to look to him, whom they had originally rejected to save their lives. It is an astonishing prophetic picture.

The Messiah and the Jewish People

The hope of a Messiah, a Redeemer, is at the heart of our People it is throughout our liturgy, literature, and binds us together throughout history. It is also our greatest gift to mankind.
ADONAI promised Avraham Avinu, before we were even a People, that through his offspring, all the nations of the world will be blessed (Genesis 12:3), and that our Messiah will be a light to the Gentiles, bringing salvation to the ends of the earth, through a new covenant (Isaiah 42 & 49, Jeremiah 31). This has certainly happened through Yeshua, whom the Gentiles call Jesus!

Yeshua=Old Testament and Tanakh

Yeshua=Old Testament and Tanakh

The Hebrews of roots is my faith foundation in Yeshua and I believe that messiah is Yeshua.
Bible old testament promises is same like Hebrew to Tanakh. I believe this is truth that Messiah found also Tanakh.
I believe old testament prophets and same found is too Tanakh.

How I know this? I read old testament and I know that same found also Tanakh. ( TaNaK = T=Torah, N=
Nevi'im, K= Ketuvim and old testament is only old testament)

We find the same Hebrew from Tanakh and same we find old testament:

( I copied the texts below from Wikipedia Tanakh content )

Torah

Main article: Pentateuch
The Torah (תּוֹרָה, literally "teaching") consists of five books, commonly referred to as the "Five Books of Moses". Printed versions of the Torah are often called Chamisha Chumshei Torah (חמישה חומשי תורה, literally the "five five-sections of the Torah"), and informally a Chumash.
In Hebrew, the five books of the Torah are identified by the first prominent word in each book.
  • Bereshit (בְּרֵאשִׁית, literally "In the beginning") - Genesis
  • Shemot (שִׁמוֹת, literally "Names") - Exodus
  • Vayikra (ויקרא, literally "And He called") - Leviticus
  • Bəmidbar (במדבר, literally "In the desert [of]") - Numbers
  • Devarim (דברים, literally "Things" or "Words") - Deuteronomy

Nevi'im

Main article: Nevi'im
Nevi'im (Hebrew: נְבִיאִים Nəḇî'îm‎, "Prophets") is the second main division of the Hebrew Bible, between the Torah and Ketuvim. It contains two sub-groups, the Former Prophets (Nevi'im Rishonim נביאים ראשונים, the narrative books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel and Kings) and the Latter Prophets (Nevi'im Aharonim נביאים אחרונים, the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel and the Twelve Minor Prophets). This division includes the books which cover the time from the entrance of the Israelites into the Land of Israel until the Babylonian captivity of Judah (the "period of prophecy"). Their distribution is not chronological, but substantive.
  • (יְהוֹשֻעַ / Yĕhôshúa‘) - Joshua
  • (שופטים / Shophtim) - Judges
  • (שְׁמוּאֵל / Shmû’ēl) - Samuel
  • (מלכים / M'lakhim) - Kings
  • (יְשַׁעְיָהוּ / Yĕsha‘ăyāhû) - Isaiah
  • (יִרְמְיָהוּ / Yirmyāhû) - Jeremiah
  • (יְחֶזְקֵיאל / Yĕkhezqiēl) - Ezekiel
The Twelve Minor Prophets (תרי עשר, Trei Asar, "The Twelve") considered as one book in Judaism.
  • (הוֹשֵׁעַ / Hôshēa‘) - Hosea
  • (יוֹאֵל / Yô’ēl) - Joel
  • (עָמוֹס / ‘Āmôs) - Amos
  • (עֹבַדְיָה / ‘Ōvadhyāh) - Obadiah
  • (יוֹנָה / Yônāh) - Jonah
  • (מִיכָה / Mîkhāh) - Micah
  • (נַחוּם / Nakḥûm) - Nahum
  • (חֲבַקּוּק /Khăvhakûk) - Habakkuk
  • (צְפַנְיָה / Tsĕphanyāh) - Zephaniah
  • (חַגַּי / Khaggai) - Haggai
  • (זְכַרְיָה / Zkharyāh) - Zechariah
  • (מַלְאָכִי / Mal’ākhî) - Malachi

Ketuvim

Main article: Ketuvim
Ketuvim (כְּתוּבִים, "Writings") consists of eleven books, described below.

The poetic books

In masoretic manuscripts (and some printed editions), Psalms, Proverbs and Job are presented in a special two-column form emphasizing the parallel stichs in the verses, which are a function of their poetry. Collectively, these three books are known as Sifrei Emet (an acronym of the titles in Hebrew, איוב, משלי, תהלים yields Emet אמ"ת, which is also the Hebrew for "truth").
These three books are also the only ones in Tanakh with a special system of cantillation notes that are designed to emphasize parallel stichs within verses. However, the beginning and end of the book of Job are in the normal prose system.

The five scrolls (Hamesh Megillot)

The five relatively short books of the Song of Songs, the Book of Ruth, the Book of Lamentations, Ecclesiastes and the Book of Esther are collectively known as the Hamesh Megillot (Five Megillot). These are the latest books collected and designated as "authoritative" in the Jewish canon even though they were not complete until the 2nd century CE.[10] These scrolls are traditionally read over the course of the year in many Jewish communities. The list below presents them in the order they are read in the synagogue on holidays, beginning with the Song of Solomon on Passover.

Other books

Besides the three poetic books and the five scrolls, the remaining books in Ketuvim are Daniel, Ezra–Nehemiah and Chronicles. Although there is no formal grouping for these books in the Jewish tradition, they nevertheless share a number of distinguishing characteristics.
  • Their narratives all openly describe relatively late events (i.e. the Babylonian captivity and the subsequent restoration of Zion).
  • The Talmudic tradition ascribes late authorship to all of them.
  • Two of them (Daniel and Ezra) are the only books in Tanakh with significant portions in Aramaic.

Order

The following list presents the books of Ketuvim in the order they appear in most printed editions. It also divides them into three subgroups based on the distinctiveness of Sifrei Emet and Hamesh Megillot.
The three poetic books (Sifrei Emet)
The Five Megillot (Hamesh Megillot)

God's love in. 1.Cor:13

God's love in. 1.Cor:13

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love,  I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love,  I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love,  it profits me nothing.
Love  suffers long, and is kind; love  envies not; love  vaunts not itself, is not puffed up,
 Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love  never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abides faith, hope, love,  these three; but the greatest of these is love. "

I'm a Love ! Said For God ! 1.Joh.4:8

He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.

Yeshua said: Joh.13:34-35 " A new commandment I give unto you, That all of you love one another; as I have loved you, that all of you also love one another.
By this shall all men know that all of you are my disciples, if all of you have love  one to another. "

Matt. 24:31-40
" When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, all of you blessed of my Father, inherit
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and all of you took me in:
Naked, and all of you clothed me: I was sick, and all of you visited me: I was in prison, and all of you came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?
When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, all of you have done it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, all of you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me no food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and all of you took me not in: naked, and all of you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and all of you visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto you?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you did it not to one of the least of these, all of you did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. "

This is our everybody need to learn. Do you agree?

Shalom!
